Mission


EWB-Wash U partners with developing communities to improve their quality of life through the implementation of environmentally sustainable, equitable, and economical engineering projects while developing internationally responsible engineers and engineering students.

 

Goals


EWB-Wash U strives to provide:

  • A base for students to expand their knowledge of what it means to be an engineer and develop a respect for all of humanity around the globe.
  • An understanding of the importance of citizenship and emphasize the importance of non-profit work.
  • Networking between students and working professionals in order to design and implement projects that help improve the standard of living around the world.
  • An educational experience to students about the procedure involved in project implementation.
  • A design and construction of systems which improve living conditions in a particular community.
